The study aimed to investigate the impact of osteoporosis on selected biochemical and hormonal markers among women.

The findings revealed a strong association between osteoporosis and hormonal imbalance. The study observed decreased levels of calcium, vitamin D, estrogen, and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), alongside elevated thyroid hormone levels. These physiological changes contribute to reduced bone density and an increased risk of osteoporosis among women.
This scientific achievement represents an important step in the academic and research journey of the university’s scholars and reflects the Islamic University’s commitment to supporting applied research that serves both society and the medical field, while promoting excellence in scientific research and higher education.
